Air Arabia

Air Arabia is the Middle East’s largest low-cost carrier headquartered at Sharjah Freight Center, UAE. It operates daily scheduled flights to 46 destinations worldwide. Airarabia is a member of the Arab Ari Carriers organization.

With an issue of Amiri degree, Sultan bin Mohammad Al-Qasimi founded Air Arabia on 3rd February 2003. It became the first low-cost carrier in the Middle East and later kicked off operations in 2003.

There are numerous bases of the airline across Egypt, Jordan, Morocco and Nepal.

However, Arabia air’s focus cities are Alexandria and Casablanca.

Air Arabia has a fleet size of about 162 aircraft, including Airbus A320-214. The airline has also placed an order of 44 planes.

Air Arabia has stood up no. 1 LCC (Low Cost Carrier) for the year 2009 by Aviation Week.

The airline is engrossed in strategic expansion. They have started operating air service to Beirut, Lebanon from Alexandria, and Arabia’s Egyptian hub operates between Burj Al Arab International and Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport.

Middle East’s largest low-cost carrier offers five weekly flights between Sharjah, UAE and Goa, India. The airline also operates flights to Ahmadabad, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mumbai, Nagpur and Thiruvananthapuram.
