Egypt Air

Egypt Air is the largest carrier of Africa. It is Egypt’s national airline based at Cairo , the capital of Egypt . It operates scheduled passenger flights to more than 79 destinations across the globe, including Africa, America, Asia, Europe and Middle East, from its main base Cairo International Airport. The Egypt flagship carrier is committed to show a perfect picture to air passengers so that they may Enjoy the Sky (the slogan of company). Egypt Air joined the Star Alliance, the world’s first and largest airline alliance, in 2008.

The EgyptAir Holding Company was created in 2002 by seven companies. The Star Alliance owns Egypt Air Express, a regional subsidiary, and Air Sinai.

Egypt Airlines has stakes in Air Cairo, Smart Aviation Company, Air Sinai, Civil Aviation Finance and Operating Leases and LSG Sky Chefs Catering Egypt.

EgyptAir became the first IOSA certified carrier in Africa in 2004.

EgyptAir rated 3-star Quality Certified Airline by a UK-based consultancy service provider in 2006.

Egypt Air operates Boeing 737-800 from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminal no. 2.

The airline has code share agreement with Gulf Air, Malaysian Airlines, Tunis Air and Yemenia.

The national flagship carrier of Egypt serves all major India’s metropolitans, including Bangalore, Kolkata and Trivandrum.

Egypt Air ensures its passengers a safe and comfortable flying experience. All the Egypt Air passengers are requested to reach airport three hours before scheduled time of their flight departure, and two hours before for domestic flights.
